The story of Rabiya'z by Shamim and three decades of hand-crafted Indian ethnic couture.
In the winter of 1995, master designer Shamim envisioned a couture house that would serve as a bridge between India's historic textile legacies and the dynamic style requirements of the modern Indian woman. Named in honor of Rabiya, the brand started as a small, bespoke atelier in the lanes of Delhi, dedicated to restoring purity and complexity to ethnic apparel.

As machine prints began flooding markets, Rabiya'z stood firm in its commitment to handloom weavers. By establishing direct relationships with master weavers across Varanasi, Kanchipuram, and Jaipur, we ensured that every gold zari thread and every block print stayed authentic to its roots. This support network has grown to empower over 300 artisan families today.
Today, Rabiya'z by Shamim continues to define luxury Indian fashion. Under the creative direction of Rabiya herself, each capsule is built on three core pillars: authentic luxury fabrics, sustainable livelihoods for artisans, and premium design engineering that ensures a flawless couture fit.
